He was then admitted to the Courts of the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He concentrated his practice initially in the area of Workers’ Compensation beginning with a tenure as a Judge for the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board followed by years of practice as a private attorney before the Board. He also spent many years representing clients in obtaining Social Security disability benefits as a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives.
In 2009, he first began representing veterans in helping them to obtain disability compensation benefits. Since 2013 he has concentrated his practice entirely in the field of veterans disability and related matters. He has developed an extensive practice through referrals from other lawyers as counsel to the profession and through his representation of numerous veterans organizations including the Veterans Quality of Life Access Network, the Angels for Warriors, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Town of Islip Veterans outreach, and the Port Jefferson Marines, and many others.
He performs many hours of pro bono work including initial applications and discharge upgrades.
