A $25 donation helps provide one veteran a week of counseling at Interactive America, Inc..
We offer a home to those who have protected ours. Whenever a veteran doesn’t have any place to go, it’s an honor to give them a place to rest their head, a hot meal, help finding employment, and a fresh start.
Since 2000, Interactive America, Inc. has provided free food assistance to more than 25,000 Veterans and their family members, distributing two million pounds of food and over $70,000 in gift cards. The IAINC mission is to help Veterans in the United States, their families, whose circumstances have left them on the battlefield of hunger, and involve the public in ending Veteran hunger.
We need your help! Our nation’s services men and woman have sacrificed for our freedom. Many are returning from war to a weak economy and struggling with injuries, both physical and mental. Too many returning soldiers are ending up jobless and homeless. Too many are going hungry. We believe we have to give back to these men and women who have given so much for our country. IAINC Veterans Village provides individuals and families with necessary access to nutritional options; on average, the Veterans Village serves 140 community participants. IAINC Veterans Village chow hall identified that the food pantry participants swapped food items from a pre-bagged pantry process.
Now IAINC Veterans Village offers pantry participants the opportunity to shop for the items they will use, providing an efficient process.
TIME – DAILY: Mess Hall Lunch at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Day Room 9:00 am to 4 pm, Vendors Village 9 am to 4 pm COST: Lunch is free to Veterans, $6 for guests
